Welcome

We aim to be a friendly church, where newcomers - children and adults alike - are made welcome. We hope there's something for everyone (so there's a mix of old and new), as we seek to worship and grow in discipleship.
We believe God speaks to us through the bible, and sermons reflect that. Our worship style is evangelical low-church and relaxed. We use Mission Praise which has a mix of modern songs and traditional hymns.
We seek to come together, worship God and be equipped by His Spirit as He sends us out into the world. We've got a variety of services to enable that to happen. Services are at 10am each Sunday and Wednesday, plus a monthly one on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 6pm.
You are welcome to come in and worship with us and get to know us - and see all the other things we do so that we might grow as a family. and witness in God's world that He loves. If you are new to exploring faith - why not check out our Alpha Course? If you have been following Christ for longer - you might be interested in joining one of our various homegroups. And there are plenty of social occasions to get to know people better.

History
The present church building dates from 1783, but it is thought that this has been a Christian place of worship since the 7th Century (making this place the oldest place of worship in Berwick). Today we continue to serve God here and want to pass on the good news of Jesus, so that people from this and the next generation may know his love and follow him with their lives. How to find us
|
If you've moved into the area, or you're visiting Berwick, or you've lived here all your life, you're welcome. If you used to come or you've never been, come along and we'd love to meet you. We're located on the south bank of the Tweed in Berwick, just along from the old bridge, next to the docks (look up to see the Salmon weather-vane!)
We're about half a mile from Berwick upon Tweed town centre. Please see the map for our location, or use TD15 2AJ for satnavs. If you are coming along Main Street (into and out of Berwick), take the road (Brewery bank) by the Angel Inn (just down from Asda), which leads to Church Road. Parking is in local streets. If you live in Prior Park, the West End, St Boisil's, Hiveacress or Goldstone estates, East Ord or the other side of the A1 as far as Longridge, then this is your local parish church. |
