Welcome to St Peter's Church, Scremerston.

New people are very welcome to come in and join us.  We seek to be a church right at the heart of the village.  It's an exciting time, with the church being renovated on the inside (we're on stage 2 of 4) so that we can welcome and connect even better.

The development of our services reflects this too.  We meet on Sundays at 11am or 4pm.

Since it was built in the 19th Century, this church has been a part of the village community.  Today, we still seek to be so, as we serve God in this place, and we are blessed with good links with Scremerston's wonderful First School.

We are developing the Church, to further our hope of sharing with our community, and to be a beacon of light and hope.  There have been improvements at the back recently in terms of opening up space, putting in running water, a kitchenette and a disabled toilet.  And we also have much better heating.   We are really grateful for our links with the Mercers' Company and for their ongoing generosity, and particularly the grant they have promised to enable this.

If you are from outside the village, or just visiting, then you are welcome too.  Directions: The church is 3 miles south of Berwick, on the main street (TD15 2RB is close).

Parking is on the street. Please take care - the road is very wide and cars often drive through too fast.
