The Book of Proverbs in the Old Testament has 31 chapters, just as October has 31 days. If you've not picked up a Bible in a while and are not sure where to find Proverbs, let the book open about half way through and you'll probably find you're somewhere in the middle of Psalms. Proverbs is the next book on.
Rachel Hudson, our new vicar has challenged us to read a chapter of Proverbs each day and is sharing her thoughts to help us hear God's wisdom for our times. She's posting each day on Facebook and the links are below.
Then once a week you are invited to hear what other people have learned, and maybe share your thoughts at the following venues/times:
St John's Spittal: Wednesday, 9.30am
St Peter's Scremerston: Wednesday, 11.00am
Tweedmouth Parish Church: Wednesday, 12.30pm
All our churches have hand sanitiser available and are observing social distancing and have careful cleaning regimes. Please wear a face mask unless you are exempt.
