Prayer is conversation with God. We both speak to him and also listen. We can do this when we are on our own and when we meet together.
Our Sunday services always include prayer. We meet together specifically to pray at the following times:
There is a monthly prayer meeting in the 'upper room' at Tweedmouth Church Hall at 1pm on the 1st Thursday of each month.
We have quarterly special prayer events when as churches we come together, including opportunities at creative prayer stations (as pictured above), and an annual 24-hour prayer event, as part of the Thy Kingdom Come initiative, where we take turns to ensure continuous prayer through 24 hours.
At the rear of St John's Church, Spittal there is an area set aside for prayer with written and pictorial resources available to help.
