Children and young people are as much part of the church as the adults so we have  services and activities that are designed with them in mind.  They are always welcome and there are activities available in our churches to keep them occupied if they start to fidget in any of our services.
Please feel welcome to feed your baby and don't worry if they become a little noisy. Each church has enough space at the back for toddlers to be mobile and also a toilet with nappy changing facilities.
Regular activities specifically for young people are listed below. In addition there are a number of one-off events such as the Light Party (Halloween alternative) and Holiday Clubs which we advertise on our Facebook Page.
COMING UP:
- Light Party Friday 1st November 5-7pm Berwick United Reform Church, Spittal,
  Main St formerly St Paul's)
- Christmas Party, Saturday 14th December 1-3pm

Visit our contact page to get in touch with our ministers, Barbara for information about Sunday School, Barbara or Tina for Safeguarding and Lena for information about youth activities. Contact the church email for someone to get in touch with you about Open the book.

JUNIOR CHURCH/SUNDAY SCHOOL

Takes place on the 2nd & 3rd Sundays of the month at Tweedmouth Parish Church.
We have 3 aims:
  1. For children to grow in their relationship with God, so they know Jesus as their friend, Lord and Saviour;
  2. For children to develop their relationship with adults in the church (particularly Sunday school teachers and helpers), so they feel they belong;
  3. For children to develop relationships with other children in Sunday school, so they can have other Christian friends
Children start in the church with their families and a song and short part of the service may be aimed at them. They are presented with a Bible to carry to Sunday School which takes place in the church hall. Parents and carers are welcome to accompany their child until settled and then return to the service.
On their first attendance parents/carers are asked to complete a contact form with emergency information/food allergies etc. The children remain in the hall so parents can resume responsibility for them after the service - where they are often having so much fun they want to continue their activity while the adults enjoy a cup of coffee!
All Sunday school leaders and helpers are DBS checked and safeguarding policies adhered to.
Sunday School leaders are accountable to the PCC.
